Meet Management

Create meet templates and manage events for any sport. Requires Director.

RaceTimerPro adapts its terminology and workflow based on your sport:

Meet Templates

Create reusable meet templates that define the events in a competition. A template includes:

• Meet name and sport type
• Events — each with a name, distance, and gender category
• Gender categories — Boys/Girls, Men/Women, or Combined

Templates are saved and can be reused for recurring meets. For example, create a "Dual Meet" template with your standard events and use it every week.

Starting a Meet

From the Quick Tools bar, tap Meet Templates to select or create a template. When you start a meet:

1. The app enters event mode
2. The heat selector bar appears showing the current event and heat
3. Navigate between events and heats as the meet progresses
4. Race results are saved per event

Event Configuration

Each event in a meet template can be configured with:

• Event name (e.g., "100m Dash", "200 Freestyle")
• Distance
• Number of heats
• Gender category
• Scoring configuration
