Lap Timer & Splits

Track individual lap times with split analysis. Requires Pro or Director.

Enabling the Lap Timer

Turn on the lap timer from the Quick Tools bar or in Settings. Once enabled, a lap button appears on the main screen.

Recording Laps

Tap the lap button (or use your Apple Watch) to record a lap. Each lap captures:

Total Laps

Optionally set a total lap count in Settings. The display will show "Lap 3 of 8" so you know how far along the race is. When set, the lap indicator appears on the overlay.

Stacked Laps Display

Enable stacked laps to show all recorded lap times on the video overlay, not just the current one. This creates a running list of splits visible in the recording.

Split Analysis

After a race, view your lap data to see:

Sharing Lap Data

Tap the share button to export your lap data as formatted text. The export includes all lap times, fastest/slowest analysis, and total time. Share via text, email, or any iOS sharing option.

Auto-Capture

Enable auto-capture in Settings to automatically take a photo every time a lap is recorded. Great for capturing each split without having to manually tap the shutter.
